Uconnect 5 comes with Alexa, Amazon’s Alexa virtual assistant. This Alfa Connect app will allow users to shut down and start the engine and remote locking and unlock doors and other features. In addition, the Tonale can also be updated with regular updates via the internet. Alfa Romeo says the Tonale will be the first car equipped with an NFT certificate that is digital. It will store information regarding the vehicle’s lifetime and will serve as a proof document that proves the Tonale was well maintained and kept in good condition. Alfa Romeo claims it will boost the residual value of the vehicle and will allow buyers who are buying in the used market to know exactly what they’re purchasing. Alfa Romeo did acknowledge that it’s possible that NFT does not maintain the records if you opt to handle maintenance on your own.
