2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Release Date & Price
In the year 2022 marks the date that will mark the anniversary of 120 years of the Cadillac, Cadillac brand, the company is celebrating by releasing an exclusive version that is the 2023 CT5-V Blackwing. Appropriately dubbed the 120th Anniversary Edition, Cadillac is only making–predictably–120 examples. However, it’s not limiting the CT5-V’s normal Blackwing production to 2023. So long as dealers don’t shut the order registers, Cadillac will build as the number of units they’d like.
For dealerships, at the moment of writing, Cadillac isn’t revealing when its first 2023 CT5-V Blackwings are arriving at the dealership. According to the GM Authority, 2023 CT5 production will start on the 11th of July 2022 at the GM’s Lansing Grand River manufacturing facility. Its corvette-based engine is constructed in-house elsewhere, however, this super car is manufactured in Lansing. If there’s no issue in the chain of supply, Cadillac will begin to build the 2023 version at the same time as other models. If you’re planning to buy this 2023 Cadillac CT5V Blackwing it’s likely to wait until at least the 11th of July. If you’re interested in an anniversary edition that spans 120 years, it’s a good idea to start camping right now as one is already on the market.
At at this point, Cadillac hasn’t released pricing information for this year’s 2023 CT5-V Blackwing 120th Anniversary Edition. However, it’s likely to be less than the $250,000, that the previous model could have collected in a recent auction to benefit charities. Cadillac hasn’t announced pricing details for the regular 2023 CT5-V Blackwing at the moment. According to GM Authority sources, the 2023 model will start at $84,940, after the delivery and freight cost. This is slightly lower than the prices of the 2022 CT5-V Blackwing. 2022 CT5-V Blackwing which is currently priced at $85,390 after the destination. Although a lower price for the initial purchase is great, however, it may be due to modifications Cadillac has implemented with regard to the 2023 CT5-V Blackwing.
2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Redesign
GM Authority states that four colors namely, Satin Steel Metallic Shadow Metallic, Infrared Tintcoat as well as Dark Emerald Frost are off the list of colors to be available in 2022. Also, the Driver Assist package will be offered for automated Blackwings. The feature is not available for the manual CT5-V Blackwings. This is because some features aren’t compatible when using an automatic transmission. While certain shades have been eliminated, some new shades are being introduced to replace these shades: Radiant Red Tintcoat, Argent Silver Metallic Midnight Steel Metallic, and Maverick Noir Frost. This shade is a matte color like Dark Emerald Frost. Since these colors are expensive these colors will cost more of a price. According to the CT5-V Blackwing pricing structure, metallic colors will likely cost $625, whereas Radiant Red will likely cost $1225. Since it’s a matte hue, Maverick Noir Frost will cost more at $3925, GM Authority says.
Additionally, it’s possible that 2023 CT5-V Blackwing will include at least one more option. We currently do not know if Cadillac will launch the 2023 CT5-V’s all-new Bronze Accent Package along with the Blackwing. However, it will offer the 120th-anniversary edition’s enclosed transportation option for vehicles that are regular. Similar to privately-owned shipping, the cost is based on the distance between the manufacturing facility and its location. One thing that’s not going to change is what happens to the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V’s Blackwing’s speed.
Engine
