2023 Jeep Wrangler 392 – The Jeep Wrangler 392 comes with an incredible off-road capability in addition to the capability to claim it is the only convertible V8 that has doors that are removable. It’s a unique experience not available on any comparable vehicle, including its sibling and that of the Ram 1500 TRX. It’s a wild, unforgettable experience that could give a slap to even the most skeptical of us. It’s an experience that must be replicated and enlarged whenever possible. It’s not likely to occur. Jeep Gladiator fans that may be hoping that the Toledo-built car will also receive the new 392 Hemi V8 engine upgrade are disappointed to discover that it’s unlikely, despite demand for it loud and clear. The same is true for those with an Xtreme Recon package that includes 35-inch tires straight at the time of purchase.

The CEO of Jeep Jim Morrison recently had an interview with Motor Authority at the 2022 New York auto show, and he was not afraid to make any concessions regarding the information which he revealed. Regarding the 392 V8 concealed under the undercarriage of Gladiator, Gladiator, Morrison outright stated that he’s not certain if “we’ll ever see a 392 in the Gladiator”. According to Wrangler’s chief director of operations Morrison Morrison, the Gladiator is only about one-third of the total Wrangler production. There could be other variables that are at play (like the French controlling FCA and government agencies going electronic, or the increase in the rate of inflation) But the Gladiator is not exactly comparable to the Wrangler’s rate of taking.

The same applies to the idea of a Jeep Gladiator Xtreme Recon package with 35-inch tires exactly as they came from the factory. The distinction is that Morrison stated that Jeep continues to provide larger wheels and tires through The Jeep Performance Parts division. In terms of larger tires, it is believed that the 37-inch model is in the pipeline for this version of the Wrangler 4xe. Morrison claimed that the tires in the Wrangler 4xe in Moab during the 2022 Easter Jeep Safari were his preference and when he was off-roading with on the car, Morrison “couldn’t find a place where I couldn’t make that go.” It’s expected that in 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor will have 37-inch tires, however, Jeep hasn’t released them as of yet, and it was only recently made available 35-inch tires as part of the Xtreme Recon.

In keeping with the subject of 4xe’s Morrison was unable to confirm if plug-ins for electric hybrids in the Gladiator will be coming soon or when it’s coming. However, we do know that Jeep plans to include electric vehicles in its lineup before 2025. This means that we could see the Gladiator 4xe join Jeep’s lineup in the twenty-fourth model year.
