2024 Chevy Silverado EV Trail Boss – Chevrolet’s Silverado, the latest version of its Silverado brand electric vehicle was recently shown and it features a feature that isn’t available yet. Ford F-150 Lightning does not yet come with an off-road version. Like the gasoline-powered Silverado, it also has an electric one. Silverado EV will come with a Trail Boss off-road model.

Chevrolet hasn’t revealed any additional information regarding the Silverado EV Trail Boss other than the pictures above, which suggest that it’ll sport black body panels with a matte finish and red tow hooks on both ends of the. The Silverado EV is available with 24 inches of wheels, but you could find that this Trail Boss will have smaller distinct black wheels that are mounted on all-terrain wheels. Expect a stiffer suspension and normal air springs and locked differentials (the GMC Hummer EV has two electric motors in the rear of its axle, which duplicate a locking differential, and an option to lock the front axle.) It may also have the Hummer’s Crab Walk feature, too.

Its Silverado EV isn’t sharing its underpinnings with the gas model it’s an extended version of GMC Hummer’s Ultium platform. It is equipped with a 200.0-kWh battery pack and 2 electric motors. Each motor is for a specific axle, capable of delivering up to 780 pounds of torque in the unique launch-control mode. The manufacturer claims that it can travel up to 400 miles, but you can expect the Trail Boss model’s range to be less than this because it’s made of all-terrain rubber.
