2025 Chevy Corvette E-Ray Release Date & Price

The date for the release of 2025’s Chevy Corvette electric vehicle is likely to be 2024, though GM hasn’t officially confirmed the date yet. In 2025, the Corvette EV will be available to purchase at Chevrolet dealerships across the nation and across various markets around the world. GM did not yet announce pricing information for 2025’s Chevy Corvette electric vehicle. It is likely to cost significantly more than the gasoline-powered version. The initial price of a Gas-powered 2022 Corvette Stingray is $60,900 MSRP for the Coupe model and $68,400 MSRP for the convertible version. Car and Driver estimate the following prices as the starting price for the 2025 Corvette EV:

  • 1LT: $100,000
  • 2LT: $110,000
  • 3LT: $120,000

Engine

It is not clear what the official specs for the powertrain electric of 2025’s Chevy Corvette EV aren’t yet available. But, Car and Driver believe it will feature 3 or 4 electric motors that will produce more than 1,000 horsepower. As with other electric vehicles manufactured by GM like the Chevy Silverado electric pickup truck The Corvette EV will feature the Ultium battery platform. It is certain to be capable of competing on the performance front against likely competitors, like those of the Dodge Challenger muscle and an electric Porsche 718.

Alongside an electric-only Corvette, GM will release the hybrid Corvette which is likely to be called”the Corvette E-Ray. It is likely to have two electric motors in the front and a gasoline engine in the rear of the cabin. The automaker is likely to provide an even more powerful hybrid version that is a variant of the Corvette Z06. Corvette Z06. It’s speculated to be called”the Corvette Zora, named after GM engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov “Father of the Corvette.”

2025 Chevy Corvette E-Ray Verdict

GM hasn’t released any photos or videos of 2025’s Chevy Corvette electric. In its announcement on electric Corvette models, the company released an unintentional teaser video that shows an unmasked Corvette performing cold-weather tests. For this car that is featured in the clip, it is able to hear the sound of an engine which suggests it’s that it’s the Corvette E-Ray. It’s the same model as the present C8 Corvette version, with the exception of the brake calipers in yellow. Since it’s likely that the Corvette EV won’t be released for at most a few years, there’s an excellent possibility that it’ll have a distinct design.
